Job Overview

As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and supervising daily operational activities to guarantee safe, punctual, and customer-focused transportation services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations including fleet management, maintenance, safety protocols, personnel management, and contractor coordination.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support and engage with drivers and staff to ensure timely resolution of rosters, pay queries, and workplace concerns.
  • Maintain adherence to company, client, and legislative requirements (e.g., fatigue, fitness for work, reporting).
  • Lead and support safety investigations, assessments, and driver evaluations.
  • Monitor and improve operational performance through registers, compliance checks, and reporting.
Key Requirements:
  • MR license with passenger accreditation (Driver Authority).
  • Completion of Chain of responsibility; Driver and scheduler course to administer the implementation of fatigue management strategies (or the ability to obtain).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Transport or equivalent industry experience.
  • Knowledge of the Coach Transport Industry. Experience in administrative, logistics, or transport roles will be highly regarded.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Distinctive Systems) is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to develop, coach, and mentor high-performing teams.
