Job Title: Learning Facilitator/Lecturer

The Learning Facilitator/Lecturer is a key member of our academic team, responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students. This role requires a strong passion for teaching and learning, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences for students, incorporating a range of teaching methods and technologies.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards and academic excellence.
  • Participate in academic and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies.
Requirements:
  • PhD/Doctoral qualification in a relevant field, such as Community Services, Social Work, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in the Community Services sector, with a strong focus on teaching and learning.
  • Higher Education teaching experience, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality learning experiences in face-to-face and online environments.
  • Experience teaching Community Services students is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA) requirements and a strong understanding of current scholarship and professional practice in the discipline.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and commitment to continuous professional development.
