About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior People Leader to join our team at Big Red Group. As the Head of People and Performance, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our people strategy during a transformative phase of growth.

This is a unique opportunity to partner closely with our leadership team to build and execute a forward-thinking people strategy that aligns with our ambitious goals. You will collaborate with leaders and people managers across the business to shape our culture, performance frameworks, and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a People and Performance strategy aligned with business priorities to drive high engagement, capability, and results.
  • Lead people-focused initiatives that support growth, adaptability, and the ongoing transformation of our business as we scale.
  • Design and implement group-wide development programs that inspire growth and performance across all levels of the business.
  • Shape a high-performance culture that balances agility with scalability, nurturing an inclusive environment where people and teams thrive.
  • Lead group-wide programs such as performance reviews, goal setting, employee engagement, talent calibration, and remuneration cycles.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver value through tailored people solutions, ensuring the People and Performance function supports commercial outcomes.
  • Oversee employee relations, legal compliance, total rewards, leadership offsites, and culture-building initiatives.

About You

You are an inspiring leader with hands-on experience, comfortable navigating the complexity of a growing platform business. You have experience in both SME environments and more mature tech or travel businesses, making you adept at balancing agility with the need for scalable, robust frameworks.
