Night Operations Manager Job Description

We are a leading hospitality group, committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in Australian-owned apartment hotels. Our goal is to become the largest operator by 2030.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless hotel operations during the night. You will oversee all systems, manage guest needs and issues, and complete reconciliations and reporting as required by the night audit function.

You will also be responsible for managing and supporting the performance of the Night Auditor, who takes over on your days off, ensuring continuity of service and a smooth transition between shifts.

This position requires attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities. You will work closely with the night team and wider teams to achieve our high standards of service, even when most of the world sleeps.

  • Manage the night audit function efficiently
  • Oversee the front office overnight, handling late check-ins, complaints, security, and support for after-hours tasks
  • Collaborate effectively with the night and day teams
  • Provide training and escalation support to other night teams
  • Deliver exceptional guest services in every interaction
  • Manage emergency situations professionally
  • Support the General Manager with higher-level hotel management and administration tasks

  5. Emergency Situations: Manage emergency situations professionally and safely
