Our organization is currently seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Bid Management Specialist.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient and high-calibre support for marketing and business development activities; driving proposals and managing the bid process for our team, including developing an understanding of the business development needs and the opportunity pipeline.

The selected individual will work closely with our team to prepare and produce high-level bid submissions, manage the go/no-go process, review and edit proposals, and offer advice and support to local tenders and proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and producing high-level bid submissions
  • Managing the go/no-go process, including initial meetings and assessments
  • Reviewing and editing proposals, including the development and editing of graphics
  • Offering advice and support to local tenders and proposals
  • Maintaining an accurate proposal database

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and autonomously as required
  • Capacity to keep confidentiality
  • Experience analysing data for the purpose of evaluation
  • Demonstrable ability to organize, process, and present information

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A degree level qualification in Marketing or a similar field
  • Previous experience in a Bid Management role
  • Member of CA/CPA preferred
