Experienced Residential Construction Manager Opportunity

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead a team of trades and ensure that residential construction projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate site activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Develop and implement effective plans for resource allocation, project timelines, and cost management
  • Monitor and control project expenditure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures as needed
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other departments, including design, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including occupational health and safety requirements
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or rework
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to foster strong partnerships and achieve mutual benefits

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in residential construction management, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, including building codes, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards common goals
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and manage competing demands
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with experience in project management software an advantage
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors, with the ability to navigate challenging terrain and extreme weather conditions
