Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building customer relationships, and implementing effective marketing strategies to promote our products and brand across various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Growth Strategies: Define, develop, and implement clear sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth across wholesale, retail, and food service sales channels, maximizing the uptake of our diverse product suite.
  • Sales Target Setting: Establish sales targets and identify key performance measures to best drive revenue growth across targeted sales channels.
  • Team Management: Source, recruit, train, supervise, and performance-manage sales and marketing staff to achieve sales targets and build solid customer relationships across key target markets.
  • Sales Meetings: Attend sales meetings and present the value of our product suite, identifying customer needs and goals, and offering solutions that best meet them.
  • Sales Release Cycle Methodologies: Develop and implement methodologies to optimize sales take-up rates.
  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to support sales efforts, promoting our product suite to decision-makers across each target customer segment.
  • Brand Development: Develop and implement marketing strategies to build our brand and image as a world-class producer, processor, and distributor of premium quality food products, supported by positive customer testimonials.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement front-end and back-end processes and procedures to maximize productivity and performance in the sales and marketing function.
  • Marketing Agency Management: Manage external marketing agencies to promote our product suite and brand across key target markets.
  • Performance Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, budgets, and results, making changes to optimize outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant degree qualification and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Alternatively, at least 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
