The OpportunityWe're looking for a Business Development Manager to grow and support our customer base in Australia. You'll work closely with growers, offering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
This role is unique because you'll:
- Develop customer strategy to optimize growth for the entire region
- Sell & deliver products to a wide range of horticultural customers
- Work with cutting-edge technology in agriculture
- Direct impact on the future of precision farming
You'll be responsible for:
- Identifying and building relationships with new customers in the horticultural sector
- Providing hands-on product demonstrations and training at farms and offices
- Developing and executing sales strategies that drive growth and profitability
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Partnering with the Product team to uncover new customer needs & inform product development
You'll need:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in agribusiness or AgTech
- Background or experience in perennial tree crops, agronomy, or horticulture is an advantage
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and drive results without direct supervision
