Prosecution Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Prosecution Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing prosecution services for the area of responsibility.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal advice within the area of responsibility on matters pertaining to court processes and ensuring the highest quality of briefs is maintained by monitoring their provision by police;
  • Liaising, consulting, and negotiating with members of the Queensland Police Service, the legal profession, government agencies, and the community towards achieving effective working relationships and desired policing outcomes;
  • Identifying environmental factors affecting the work area and contributing to the development and provision of legal research, argument, submissions, opinion, and advice;
  • Setting and maintaining high standards of performance and conduct in daily work activities.

Role Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Mandatory: Admission as a legal practitioner in the State of Queensland or eligibility for immediate admission.
