Job Overview

As a Senior Prosecutor, you will deliver high-level prosecution services, including legal counsel to law enforcement agencies. You will be responsible for supervising junior staff and providing extensive experience across all Magistrates Court criminal matters.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide a prosecution service for the designated area.
  • Ensure exceptional quality of briefs is maintained for summary trials and committal proceedings.
  • Build effective working relationships with stakeholders to achieve desired policing outcomes.
  • Develop and provide high-quality legal research, argument, submissions, opinion, and advice.
  • Manage resources efficiently to achieve operational goals.
  • Model high standards of performance and conduct in daily work activities.
Key Requirements

Mandatory: Admission as or eligibility for immediate admission as a legal practitioner in the State of Queensland.
