Chief Prosecution Officer

You will provide expert prosecution services, including the provision of legal guidance to stakeholders on matters before various courts. This position requires the supervision of junior team members.
This role offers a broad level of experience across all Magistrates Court criminal proceedings, providing a depth of skill and expertise in prosecuting.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a professional prosecution service for the area of responsibility.
- Maintain high-quality case briefs for summary trials and committal proceedings.
- Liaise with stakeholders to establish effective working relationships and achieve desired outcomes.
- Lead the development and provision of quality legal research, arguments, submissions, opinions, and advice.
- Optimize resources to achieve operational goals.
- Model high standards of performance and conduct in daily work activities.
Mandatory - Admission as a legal practitioner in Queensland or eligibility for immediate admission is required.
Applications remain valid for 12 months.
