Job Title:

Housing Property Manager

Our team is seeking an experienced Housing Property Manager to join our Hobart, TAS office. This is a busy and rewarding role that will develop your tenancy management skills.

As a Housing Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining tenancies within the portfolio, ensuring leases are up to date, properties are inspected and reviewed, and rent reviews are managed.

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant records.
  • Maintain data for all tenants in accordance with The Salvation Army's timelines, standards, and procedures.
  • Address high-risk situations involving tenants within required time frames, as per The Salvation Army's policy and procedure.
  • Provide assistance to assess tenant issues, needs, and circumstances.
  • Develop strategies to address tenant needs within relevant policy and procedure guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate diploma with relevant experience or lesser formal qualifications with substantial years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a similar role overseeing a diverse property portfolio.
  • Sound knowledge of social housing and community welfare sector will be highly regarded.
  • Valid Tasmanian drivers license and WWVP license.
