The Residential Property Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of residential accommodation for staff, contractors, and visitors in southern Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage accommodation contracts, coordinating tenancies, furnishing, service connection, maintenance, and cleaning services
- Serve as the primary contact for all accommodation-related issues in the area, liaising, negotiating, and resolving issues with internal and external stakeholders and tenants
- Develop solutions to complex problems, handle pressure, ambiguity, and change, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in real estate or property management, including a thorough understanding of relevant legislation such as the Residential Tenancies Act 1997
- High-level interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication, relationship management, judgment, and assertiveness with stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, including financial management, initiative, prioritisation, capacity, creativity, adaptability, and flexibility
