About the Role

The Commercial Manager will play a key role in leading the Supplier Relationship Management team and driving world-class practices to ensure market-leading efficiency in relationship management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying market and internal opportunities to create competitive advantage
  • Ensuring compliance with business risk policies and challenging them to meet commercial, legislative, and business environments
  • Developing and implementing supplier management and assessing strategies to meet company objectives
  • Analyzing performance and ensuring alignment between cost control methodologies and customer service/brand reputation outcomes
  • Providing commercial advice and support to project teams throughout the contract life cycle
About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will bring a proven approach to strategic and commercial strategies, with a track record of success driving performance through accountability for results and a performance culture. Key requirements include:

  • Exceptional understanding of financial levers and high degree of commercial acumen
  • Track record of success implementing and delivering operational efficiency business process enhancement initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate business outcomes
  • Tertiary and ideally postgraduate qualifications in Finance or Business
