Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Business Development Manager to join our diverse team and drive growth in the Mining markets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the ANZ Mining industries, and a consistent track record of establishing and growing business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and champion relationships with key partners in the ANZ mining industry and related industries.
  • Collaborate with existing clients to understand their needs, provide customized solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing our capabilities and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical authorities and project managers, to ensure flawless execution of client projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with overall corporate objectives.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, partnerships, and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and mutual benefit.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts and agreements.
  • Establish and supervise key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of development activities and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience in business development within the Mining industries highly regarded.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Validated ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
