Insurance Claims Manager

Claims handlers play a pivotal role in the claims process, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of claims from initial notification to successful resolution, adhering to regulatory compliance and client guidelines.
- Analyse documentation and evidence to determine policy coverage, investigate potential fraudulent activity and provide expert advice on best course of action.
- Collaborate with insurers to report and seek authority on claims exceeding delegated limits, ensuring seamless claim handling and minimising delays.
- Advising clients on optimal claims strategies to achieve desired outcomes.
- Proactively manage claims to deliver swift and effective resolutions for clients and their customers.
- Previous experience in insurance, claims or legal environments, specifically managing general liability and/or product claims.
- A strong background in law or general insurance, particularly knowledge of key processes and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and strategic decision-making skills to drive results.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
