Insurance Claims Evaluator

The primary function of this role is to evaluate and manage claims for complex insurance products. Claims assessors will be responsible for assessing and managing all claims in accordance with policy and procedures, industry standards and relevant legislation.
- Evaluate and settle claims and provide assistance on product and claim inquiries.
- Manage all claims with a focus on complex living benefit claims and member product and claim inquiries while assisting senior claims specialists in mentoring the claims team in the assessment and management of life claims.
- Drawing on industry knowledge, identify and monitor key trends and issues affecting claims in the life insurance industry.
Candidates should have previous experience in evaluating insurance claims and possess excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to understand medical conditions and interpret medical information based on policy definitions.
- Significant experience in claims assessment in the financial services industry with particular expertise in managing income protection claims.
- Flexibility and commitment to providing high-quality claims management and customer service to members.
