Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage general insurance claims and provide high-quality technical advice and support to clients throughout the claims process.

The ideal candidate is a client service champion, skilled in conflict resolution, effective communication with clients, and adept at managing complex claims.

  • Manage a portfolio of general insurance claims.
  • Provide expert guidance on policy coverage and interpretation, and advocate for the client in relation to insurer indemnity denials.
  • Drive the settlement negotiation process and negotiate on behalf of the client.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating value and driving results.
  • Manage external providers and interface with panel solicitors, loss adjusters and investigators as required.
  • Respond to queries from brokers and clients.
  • Conduct meetings and liaise with clients, insurers, claimants, and external providers.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage moderate to complex claims in accordance with our processes and Client Service Agreements.
  2. Prepare routine claims reports including claims trends analysis and summaries for the client and broker.
  3. Maintain fully documented system based electronic files and a system prompted diary follow up procedure on each claim.
  4. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in claims handling.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
