Student Support Assistant Role

This is a student-facing role that requires strong administrative and customer service skills to provide high-quality reception services for students.

The ideal candidate will have experience in administration, customer service or health sciences and be able to contribute to continual improvement initiatives in student support services. They will also possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to balance competing deadlines while providing a positive experience for students.

About the Role

  • Provide front-line reception services across multiple channels (in person, phone, and email)
  • Assist with intake and triage to wellbeing support, accessibility registrations and direct students to appropriate university services
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation and filing

Key Requirements

  • Degree in administration, customer service or health sciences
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in administration or customer service
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Familiarity with key student support functions
