Macquarie University is seeking enthusiastic and energetic current students to join our dynamic Student Belonging Activator team This role offers the chance to make a real impact by welcoming new students and fostering a vibrant campus environment, all while developing valuable skills for your future career

What will you do?
As a Student Belonging Activator, you'll be the face and spirit of student belonging at Macquarie. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming and supporting new and continuing students through activations, events, and outreach.
  • Running vibrant on-campus engagement activities including MQ Food Hub, Destress for Success, Mindful May and Kickstart Week.
  • Connecting with students through calling campaigns and peer-to-peer conversations to share helpful services, tips and support.
  • Offering wayfinding assistance to students to make campus feel more familiar and accessible.
  • Providing feedback to improve student initiatives and contribute to a culture of inclusion, fun and innovation.
  • Collaborating with a passionate team while developing skills in leadership, communication and event delivery.
