About CFC

CFC is a specialist insurance provider that pioneers emerging risk and leads the market in cyber insurance. Our global platform utilizes cutting-edge technology and data science to deliver faster, smarter underwriting and protect businesses from today's most critical risks.

Headquartered in London with offices in New York, Austin, Brussels, and Brisbane, CFC has over 800 staff members and serves more than 100,000 businesses across 90 countries.

We're passionate about pushing boundaries, thinking differently, and building the insurance company of the future. At CFC, insurance isn't just about underwriting; we have something for everyone, from data science to software development and digital marketing design.

The Role

We're seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Australian Cyber Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for driving sales initiatives across our Australian partnerships, creating efficiencies in management and engagement, identifying new broker relationships, and providing training and education to our partners.

You'll work closely with our Development Leader to action our cyber sales strategy and collaborate with existing underwriting and development teams. Although this role won't be directly responsible for underwriting, it requires close interaction with underwriters to ensure messaging aligns with underwriting strategy and gain insight into daily interactions between underwriters and broker partners.

Additionally, you'll engage regularly with Marketing, Distribution, Claims, Proactive, and Incident Response divisions to deliver exceptional experiences to our broker partners across the entire Cyber ecosystem.

About You

We're looking for driven individuals with a strong work ethic, good knowledge of cyber as a class of business, and proven business development capabilities.

You should have:

  • Strong business development experience from broking or underwriting
  • Excellent knowledge of the broker and cyber landscape in Australia
  • Ambitious customer service skills and excellent understanding of insurance fundamentals and best practices from an agency management perspective

You'll work relatively autonomously but at the fast pace that underpins our successful framework.

Our Hiring Process

Our hiring process includes:

  • Phone screening
  • First-stage interview
  • Second-stage interview

We encourage applicants to register their interest so we can contact them when suitable roles become available.

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a benefits package that reflects our commitment to your growth and success.
