About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Casual Ward Clerk in the Division of Paediatric Medicine at the Women's and Children's Health Network.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide administrative and reception support services to the ward, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

As a Casual Ward Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate clerical documentation and records;
  • Contributing to the provision of effective patient care management by maintaining accurate booking lists and other details;
  • Maintaining systems and processes to streamline and efficiency of timely processes and workload within the ward;
  • Assisting in the management of patient admissions and discharges;

You will also have the ability to:

  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of people on sensitive and complex issues;
  • Deal with situations, staff and patients with maturity and empathy;
  • Use your previous administrative/career experience to make valuable contributions to our team;
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products to efficiently manage tasks and responsibilities.
