About the Role

As a Medical Records Officer, you will play a vital role in contributing to an efficient and effective medical record and patient registration service at the Women's and Children's Health Network.

Job Summary
  • Work as part of a multi-skilled team to provide high-quality medical records and patient registration services.
  • Contribute to a comprehensive and proactive patient registration and reception service.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide accurate and timely medical record management and patient registration services.
  2. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.
  3. Apply strong interpersonal skills to manage conflict and aggressive behavior effectively.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with consumers, staff, and external agencies.
  • High level of knowledge and understanding of confidentiality and information security principles in a health setting.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide high-quality support to patients and families.
