Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Global Senior Project Manager to plan, lead and manage multiple organization-wide projects. The successful candidate will work with functional leads in each of our regions to deliver alignment, consistency and impact within globally agreed timescales and budget.

The role involves leading change and engagement across a complex multi-region organization. To achieve this, you will build effective relationships and clear concise communication at all levels are essential qualities.

  • Develop and manage project management plans, identifying dependencies, resources and timeframes required to complete the project successfully.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across different streams to ensure robust project management principles are embedded across the organization.
  • Act as a project management coach and advisor for team members and senior colleagues across OSG.
  • Active identification and management of project risks and issues, including legal, data privacy and regulatory compliance risks.
  • Preparation of project documentation, including governance/Board level reports, status reports, risks and presentations.
  • Monitoring progress, identifying emerging issues, risks, and problem solving ensuring all approval processes and any other program-agreed processes, procedures, standards and guidelines are followed.
  • Use relationships as the foremost tool to progress project delivery and achieve the best outcomes with all levels and categories of stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively to support other areas of the organisation as required.
  • Apply a change management methodology to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
  • Assess the change impact by conducting impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programmes.

About You

  • A recognized project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, AMP).
  • An understanding and awareness of different organizational development and change management models and approaches.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a PMO within a large, complex organization.
  • Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in a global organization (preferred).
  • Experience in the education sector (preferred).
