Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Partner to join our team at Canva. As a key member of our close-knit Operations Partnering team, you will provide strategic support to our global leaders, extending their reach and capacity. Our mission is to empower Canvanauts around the world to achieve Canva's mission, strategy & goals as effectively as possible.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for anticipating needs, getting stuff done, and suggesting resolutions when identifying issues. In time, you will coordinate special projects and drive them to unilateral success by coordinating and communicating between key project owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting Product Platform and Infrastructure's Leadership teams to ensure they're set up for success.
  • Partnering with leads to prioritize and support administrative needs.
  • Coodinating meetings, calendar management, and tracking action items and follow-ups.
  • Triaging meeting requests, owning the inbox, and running meetings effectively.
  • Preparing for meetings by coordinating materials and research.
  • Driving initiatives forward by coordinating timelines, milestones, and statuses.
  • Forecasting emerging opportunities across Supergroups.
  • General administration tasks including expenses, documentation, and ad hoc requests.
  • Travel coordination for lead trips.
  • Organizing celebrations, gifts, and off-sites.

You'll Thrive If:
  • You have experience empowering leaders 1:1 or groups through strong administrative support.
  • Proven experience in Project/Program Management or Events roles in the start/scale-up tech environment.
  • Attention to detail with high-quality output in written communications and Canva presentations.
  • High emotional intelligence, building relationships with stakeholders.
  • A quick learner comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bias for action, solving problems in scalable ways.
