Workplace Injury Prevention Specialist

As a rehabilitation professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals who have sustained physical and psychological injuries.
To lead proactive management and prevention of workplace injuries, collaboration with employers and their employees is essential to minimize the effects of injuries, illness, and disability through delivery of prevention, rehabilitation, and training services.
You will utilize your clinical skills across a diverse workload, servicing various settings including insurance, government, corporate, and disability sectors. This involves positively influencing recovery from injury through negotiation with key stakeholders.
Clinical assessments include ADL, FCE, and ergonomic evaluations, as well as making workplace modification recommendations for clients across different sectors.
Working closely with clients and key stakeholders is crucial, allowing you to work autonomously and flexibly between a team office environment and on-site in workplaces.
The role requires an allied health professional to support clients on a part-time basis, offering an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated and passionate team.
Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
- Current registration or membership with the relevant industry body
- Strong clinical reasoning and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience conducting various clinical assessments
- A current Working with Children Check
- A current licence and comprehensive vehicle insurance
