Job Title: Senior Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Culinary Operations Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals that support the health and wellbeing of our residents.

Job Description:

As our Senior Culinary Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing menu planning, stock control, and compliance with food safety standards. You will also manage day-to-day kitchen operations, supervise and roster catering staff, and foster a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing seasonal, nutritious, and appetising menus that cater to residents' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, food safety regulations, and HACCP requirements.
  • Managing kitchen operations, budgets, and staff training to maintain efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or higher.
  • Food Safety Certificate (mandatory).
  • Minimum two years of experience in a similar catering or chef role.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a kitchen team.
  • Knowledge of aged care dietary requirements, including texture-modified diets and food-based supplementation.
