
Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a key operational leader. The role will involve overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring food hygiene and safety procedures are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate activities within assigned kitchen sections.
- Ensure efficient workflow and seamless coordination with other kitchen areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including apprentices and commis chefs.
- Assist in menu development and implementation of new food concepts.
- Participate in live cooking demonstrations and interact with customers when required.
- Collaborate with senior kitchen staff to maintain kitchen efficiency.
- Monitor and control food waste, stock levels, and kitchen resources.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities during busy service periods.
- Completed culinary training or apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of excellence in food preparation and presentation.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Passion for international cuisine and new food concepts.
- Experience in live cooking and customer interaction.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Creativity and willingness to contribute to menu development.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
