Senior Culinary Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef De Partie to lead our kitchen operations. As a Senior Culinary Leader, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food experiences across all areas with a focus on fine dining and banquets.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our hospitality service. You will be entrusted with coordinating kitchen operations, menu planning, mentoring apprentice chefs, and upholding the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have formal culinary qualifications and demonstrated experience in a high-end restaurant and/or five-star catering, hospitality or hotel environment.

You will also need to possess strong skills in menu planning, food ordering, storage, and presentation, as well as the ability to lead and coordinate kitchen staff including apprentices and casual chefs.

Commitment to training and mentoring emerging culinary talent is essential, as well as sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety programs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with confidence using computer systems (email, internet, word processing, spreadsheets).

Reliability and independence in managing tasks and meeting deadlines are crucial, as is flexibility to work overtime and weekends (as required).
