Job Title: Senior Culinary Leader

Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is seeking a highly experienced and passionate culinary professional to lead the kitchen team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, responsible for developing innovative culinary solutions, guiding and supporting kitchen staff, and upholding excellence in food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality menu offerings that meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the head chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure uniformity in product quality, and drive consistency in customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in creating comprehensive cost analysis reports and contribute to inventory management strategies.
  • Implement procedures to maintain exceptional presentation, sanitation, service, and product quality standards.
  • Establish compliance with all health and safety regulations, food handling standards, and environmental sustainability practices.
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, promoting a positive work environment and encouraging team growth.
  • Curate and refine recipes to meet evolving culinary trends, dietary requirements, and consumer preferences.
Requirements:
  • Hold relevant Certificate III Cookery qualifications or higher.
  • Extensive experience working as a senior culinary leader, preferably in a dynamic resort environment.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with experience in motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and special events.
