Senior Culinary Operations Manager

This is a dynamic position within the Parliamentary Service, responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences to Members of the Legislative Assembly, parliamentary staff, and visitors.
As Senior Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for coordinating kitchen operations, menu planning, mentoring apprentice chefs, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate diverse kitchen operations, including menu development and inventory management.
- Mentor and train emerging culinary talent, guaranteeing high-quality dishes are prepared and presented.
- Lead a team of chefs, cooks, and support staff to deliver outstanding service and support to our clients.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute events, conferences, and functions, meeting high standards of presentation and quality.
- Fulfill formal culinary qualifications and extensive experience in a high-end restaurant or catering environment.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Show excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety programs, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
