Senior Infant Mental Health Specialist

The perinatal and infant mental health service is seeking an emotionally intelligent, client-centered clinician to support parents and their infants who are experiencing significant mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide time-limited, intensive specialist support through direct patient care and consultation for complex perinatal mental health disorders.
- Support the needs of parents and their infants through home visiting, clinic appointments, and in-reach activities as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop education tools or programs to support service excellence and provide high-level clinical advice.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in mental health, including social work, occupational therapy, psychology, or nursing.
- Extensive postgraduate clinical experience in mental health, with a focus on working with families of infants where parents face severe and complex psychosocial and psychiatric problems.
- Excellent negotiation, decision-making and advocacy skills, with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
