Sales and Marketing Manager Role

At Cape Byron Distillery, we are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to lead and drive our Cellar Door sales strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small team, shares our values of excellence, sustainability, and community giving back.

  • The successful candidate will have at least two years' experience working in sales and marketing.
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or at least five years of experience at the requisite skill level, is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Well-organized, meticulous, able to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in compiling, analyzing, and reporting on sales data.
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring competitive activity, customer behavior, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals within the Cellar Door, providing guidance, support, and training to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, professional partners, and other stakeholders to foster sales and growth opportunities.
  • Implement efficient sales processes, including lead generation, prospecting, and customer relationship management, to increase Cellar Door foot traffic and sales outcomes.
  • Oversee all day-to-day activities within the Cellar Door.
  • Create and implement Cellar Door marketing activities to drive growth.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the spirit industry.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all operational activities.

Requirements:

  • Sales and Marketing Manager: 2 years (required)
  • Work Authorisation: Australia (required)
