Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced HR leader to join our team as a Head of People Operations.

This role involves leading a team of 3 responsible for ensuring high-quality HR services across DKSH Smollan.

The successful candidate will oversee end-to-end HR service delivery, ensuring alignment with policies and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR Operations: Oversee end-to-end HR service delivery, ensuring alignment with policies and legislative requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and coach a team of 3 to deliver seamless HR support and maintain operational excellence.
  • Process Innovation: Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the HR Operations function to enhance service delivery and streamline operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and other key stakeholders offering expert guidance on HR initiatives, employment law, industrial legislation, WH&S, learning and development.
  • Employee Relations: Provide expert advice and manage all ER/IR matters, ensuring compliance and managing issues effectively.
  • WH&S Leadership: Oversee governance and compliance for all WH&S matters.
  • Learning & Development: Partner with senior stakeholders to drive impactful learning and development initiatives that support team growth and organisational success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4-5+ years in a senior HR management role, demonstrating success in leading high-impact initiatives.
  • Skills & Mindset: You bring exceptional communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • HR Expertise: Proficient in HR systems, project management, and leading change initiatives, with the ability to build strong relationships and guide teams to success.
  • Qualifications: Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong relationship management skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
