About This Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our organization. You will accurately process payroll, including timesheets, leave, terminations, superannuation, and other calculations, while managing payroll queries via email.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll for 11,000 employees within a team or 1,000 employees individually
  • Process payruns weekly (based on fortnightly pay period)
  • Process payroll autonomously with the iChris payroll software
  • Calculation and payment of termination payments
  • Respond to worker queries as required to ensure that matters or issues are resolved in a timely and accurate manner
  • Undertake required processes in iChris and Salvos Workday to ensure accurate and effective data management
Your Background:
  • Demonstrate 2+ years experience in a similar payroll processing role
  • Exposure to high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation and award interpretation
  • A strong analytical background and proficient Excel skills
  • Demonstrable experience in superior customer service
  • Exposure to multiple EAs and award
