About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide a security presence while remaining alert and focused. As part of an enthusiastic, committed, and customer-focused team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the site database;
  • Assist with rostering of personnel at site;
  • Compile and send weekly reports to the On-Site Representative;
  • Maintain up-to-date Site Standing Orders and communicate changes of policy and procedures and operating requirements;
  • Ensure site training requirements are kept up to date with HSE and HR policies through ongoing training and re-supply of information;
  • Ensure all staff are inducted and trained appropriately for the site and hold all relevant up-to-date licenses and certifications, and appropriate records are kept as such;
  • Ensure that all incidents are reported through the correct channels and the appropriate actions are taken;
  • Ensure weekly and/or monthly KPIs are achieved and reported;
  • Provide detailed KPI reports as required;
  • Manage and address employee-related matters in line with MSS Security policies and procedures;
  • Attend meetings with site stakeholders as required;
  • Perform all duties as directed by MSS management;
  • Ensure all incidents are reported through the correct channels and incident investigations are conducted with any action items identified from the investigation process being followed up in line with Company procedures;
  • Oversee and/or complete safe work method statements, site risk assessments, and workplace inspections in accordance with Company policies and procedures and legislative requirements.

Requirements

  • 12 months of security industry experience;
  • Certificate II in Security Operations and security license;
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate;
  • Open driver's license;
  • High-level computer literacy skills;
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment;
  • Integrity and sound judgment;
  • Minimum of NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance.
