Data Centre Security Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Security Shift Supervisor to join our team at Securitas Group.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the security team on a day-to-day basis, conducting security screenings, ensuring compliance with security procedures and policies, and identifying prohibited items.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the security team to ensure effective day-to-day operations
- Conduct security screenings of personnel entering and exiting restricted areas
- Ensure compliance with all security procedures and policies
- Identify and prevent prohibited items from entering or leaving restricted areas
- Escalate and report incidents
- Patrool assigned areas and address any issues
- Hold a current AGSVA NV1 clearance
Requirements
- Current AGSVA NV-1 clearance and current State Based Security Licence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Punctuality and responsibility
- Exceptional customer service standards
- Basic to intermediate PC skills (MS Suite)
- Compliance with all relevant company policies and procedures
- Protection of premises occupants and property
- Report writing and site patrol duties
- Greet visitors and employees and assist as required
- Excellent observational skills
- Lead by example and support a safety and compliance culture
