Industrial Transformation Leader

The Australia-based industrial sector is undergoing a significant transformation, driven by the adoption of data and AI technologies. As part of this effort, our organization is seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead a high-performing team and drive the national mission of accelerating data and AI-powered industrial transformation.

This leadership role will involve managing partnerships with delivery partner organizations to scope, broker, and manage engagements that help companies test and scale practical data and AI solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a nimble delivery team, providing leadership to staff and partners, and championing the AI Adopt Centre nationally.

• Develop a pipeline of data and AI projects aligned with our strategic priorities and secure funding for these initiatives.
• Scope and manage data and AI products and services for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as large corporations, ensuring that they meet their business needs and deliver measurable value.
• Establish strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including government representatives, investors, and technical teams, to promote the AI Adopt Centre and its value proposition.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, budget management, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, roboticists, and domain experts, to design and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
• Drive adoption at scale by coaching client teams through change-management processes, measuring return on investment (ROI), and capturing impact studies to inspire wider industry uptake.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence C-Suite executives, technical teams, and government representatives.
• Advanced project management capabilities, with a focus on budget management, timeline control, and risk mitigation in fast-paced environments.
