Key Role: Senior Change Manager

About the Job

This is a specialist program and project support position within a Group Change function. The successful candidate will assess business change needs, develop strategies for timely implementation, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and deliverables. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives, identify risks, and manage mitigation.
  • Project Leadership: Provide change guidance to projects and programs. Determine strategies from impact assessment to business-as-usual transition. Lead teams, coach members, provide QA oversight, and advocate for employees.
  • Governance & Risk: Ensure governance compliance, identify stakeholders, facilitate communication, and manage change risks.
  • Change Leadership: Represent Change and People & Culture professionally, building positive relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading transformational change management initiatives in Risk Management, Insurance, Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years' experience in roles specifically related to change management, organisational development, or transformation initiatives.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and influence executive support, senior leaders, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to synthesise and present information in written and verbal forms.
  • Program Delivery: Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver full cycle, end-to-end change programs and related activities and deliverables.
  • Cross-Enterprise Expertise: Experience across a range of enterprise programs such as organisational restructuring, technology and business process adoption, culture and capability.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Academic Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Change Management or a related discipline (such as learning, organisational development, psychology).
  • Certifications: Project and change management certifications will be considered (such as Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), APMG Change Management Practitioner, Human Centred Design, Customer Experience).
  • Consulting Background: Professional, top-tier management consulting experience.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with risk, transformations, and/or culture change programs.
  • Employee Engagement: Creative change and/or employee engagement design, including immersive experience/training/event design, would be advantageous.
