Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing field-based support to customers, working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting Glory products and equipment;
  • Performing preventative maintenance;
  • Installing approved software updates;
  • Providing technical support and training customers on the correct use of Glory products and systems;
  • Effectively reporting service calls and completing administrative paperwork accurately and promptly;
  • Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of Glory products and systems;
  • Participating in the on-call roster to provide after-hours and weekend support as required.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure excellent customer service;
  • Provide timely and effective solutions to technical issues;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives;

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised technical qualification;
  • Current driver's licence;
  • 1+ years' experience in a technical field role;
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet established deadlines;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Customer service orientation;
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations;
  • Commercial awareness;
  • Demonstrable technical aptitude.
