Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team at Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD). As a key leadership role, you will be responsible for enhancing patient care and improving health outcomes in mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical support and management within mental health services.
- Lead staff education, consultation, and development.
- Develop patient care models and system improvements.
- Engage in service planning and strategic leadership.
- Coordinate research and quality initiatives to enhance clinical practice.
- Current unrestricted Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Minimum five years full-time equivalent post-graduate qualification experience, with at least three years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty and post-graduate qualification in the field of practice, or working towards same.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing/midwifery practice.
