Overview:NSW Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to join our team in Sexual Health and Blood Borne Viruses Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care to clients attending our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist services including sexual health assessment, STI screening, treatment, outreach services, client and community education and health promotion
- Triage and telephone services, including information and results provision
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and service delivery
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and a minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience in sexual health
- Demonstrated advanced clinical practice in caring for clients with STIs
- Advanced leadership skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
