About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team in Child and Family Health Nursing. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a key role in the educational development of staff, ensuring that all components of the program are effectively delivered and maintained.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Child and Family Health Nursing, with at least 5 years of experience in the specialty field. They will also have approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field.
The Clinical Nurse Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the program, ensuring that recruitment targets and fidelity to the program's standards are met. They will also collaborate closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and work alongside a diverse multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical practice standards and evaluate their outcomes.
- Provide services that facilitate effective management in Child and Family Health Nursing.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and consumer groups to promote a service that fosters clinical excellence, research, and professional leadership.
What You'll Need
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience in Child and Family Health Nursing.
- Approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field.
