Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 Role

Northern Beaches Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to join our team in Older Persons Mental Health. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will provide strategic support to Nursing Management, leading the delivery of exceptional clinical services, driving innovation, and championing practice improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advance clinical competence within Mental Health nursing practice
- Practice according to evidence-based nursing and latest contemporary practices in nursing
- Role model and influence a high standard of clinical practice among Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Graduates, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Develop and deliver training and education, provide support and guidance to peers, patients, and their families
- Work within the Recovery Model of Care, whilst clinically and professionally operating within a Trauma-Informed Care and Customer Service Approach framework
- Possess a business acumen required to promote the service and drive growth
- Establish a professional working relationship with multidisciplinary members of the service, along with all other key stakeholders
Requirements:
- Registered with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field of specialty
