Service Operations Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to customers across the mining and heavy industries. As a Service Operations Specialist, you will work closely with our technical team to ensure seamless support and troubleshooting of PCV products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary on-site technical resource for PCV products, ensuring efficient problem-solving and minimizing downtime.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, providing proactive site support and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and audits to maintain optimal performance and prevent potential issues.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide actionable insights, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize PCV performance to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Support pump, cyclone, and valve conversions by showcasing technical benefits and recommending solutions.
  • Record site activities, inspections, and opportunities in the CRM system, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and share insights with sales colleagues to foster collaboration and drive results.
Requirements
  • Technical or trade qualification in mechanical, process, or related engineering field, along with hands-on experience working with pumps, cyclones, or valves in a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with excellent relationship-building skills and a willingness to work independently while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
