Role Overview

PCV Service Engineer

A highly skilled and experienced PCV Service Engineer is required to provide advanced site support, troubleshoot complex issues, and identify opportunities that contribute to customer success and business growth. This role will work closely with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with pumps, cyclones, and valves in a mining or heavy industry environment. They will be able to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support and assistance to customers
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize PCV performance to minimize downtime
  • Identify improvement opportunities and provide leads to the sales team
  • Conduct proactive equipment inspections and audits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Technical or trade qualification in mechanical engineering
  • Hands-on experience with pumps, cyclones, or valves in a mining or heavy industry environment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers
  • Proactive, customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
