Lead Commercial Growth Strategist

We're seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Lead Commercial Growth Strategist to drive our commercial strategy, build strong partnerships, and unlock new revenue streams across South Australia's business and community networks.

Core Accountabilities:
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute a commercial strategy to achieve sustainable revenue growth across sponsorships, partnerships, and new income streams.
  • Build High-Value Partnerships: Grow and manage a strong commercial pipeline, securing new deals and maximising value from existing relationships.
  • Innovate and Create Impact: Design innovative, market-leading activations and partnership models, from digital monetisation to community-led initiatives.
  • Engage Community & Government Stakeholders: Strengthen ties with corporate partners, government bodies, and the community to unlock funding and collaboration opportunities.
  • Lead and Empower the Team: Inspire the Commercial team and wider organisation to embrace a commercial mindset and deliver outstanding partner experiences.
  • Ensure Excellence in Delivery: Oversee seamless activation of all commercial agreements, exceeding partner expectations.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: Deliver timely, data-driven reporting to inform leadership and identify growth opportunities.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Keep us ahead of market trends, maintaining our position as the leader in commercial partnerships.

To succeed, you'll need a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing high-value partnerships, combined with a strong network across Adelaide and South Australia's business community. You'll also require exceptional professional development opportunities, outstanding relationship management skills, and experience working in organisations reliant on sponsorship and partnerships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • (7-10 years+) senior leadership experience in commercial, partnership, or business development roles.
