Senior Finance Strategist

Ai Carbon is a leading carbon project developer, working with landholders, Indigenous communities and industry to generate carbon credits and deliver lasting environmental and economic outcomes.
As we seek to expand our impact under the Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme, we are looking for a senior finance strategist to join our executive team. This role will involve shaping and executing our financial and commercial strategy to enable scalable growth and long-term impact.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in management accounting and be able to move seamlessly from hands-on modelling and reporting to high-stakes commercial negotiations and due diligence. They will bring intellectual rigor, curiosity, and the drive to shape strategy—not just report on it.
This role requires a commercially-minded finance professional who can thrive in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be a modern, inclusive, and values-driven leader who knows how to mentor, influence, and build momentum across diverse teams.
Experience in agriculture or carbon is desirable but not essential. What matters most is the ability to learn fast, think commercially, and help drive Ai Carbon into its next phase.
