Job Title: Economic Development Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our economic development initiatives. As an Economic Development Strategist, you will play a key role in driving growth and prosperity for our community.

Economic Development Strategy

As an Economic Development Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive economic growth and development in our community.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Identifying and maximising commercial opportunities
  2. Analysing viability and impact of potential projects
  3. Managing complex stakeholder networks
  4. Preparing critical tender submissions and proposals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in economic development, business strategy and team leadership
  • A strong capacity for data-informed decision-making, financial oversight and compliance management
  • An ability to mentor and coach local staff
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Management or similar
