Join to apply for the Disability Support Worker role at Support Worker Co.Support Worker Co is a leading agency providing Disability Support Workers to service providers across Australia.We are seeking Casual Support Workers to assist adult NDIS participants in SILs and respite services in Beenleigh, Loganlea, Browns Plains, Eagleby, and surrounding suburbs in the Logan region.Note: Female Support Workers are preferred due to client requests regarding personal hygiene needs.Role OverviewSupport individuals in SIL arrangements and respite services.Work a 24-hour care model with shifts in the morning (from 6am), afternoon (from 2pm), and sleep-over shifts.Assist with personal activities such as hygiene, medication, manual handling, domestic tasks, and meals.Follow positive behaviour support plans (PBSP) and facilitate community, social, and recreational activities.Support clients in both group settings and one-on-one.Transport participants using a company vehicle or your own to community outings.RequirementsCertificate III in Individual Support (or currently studying)At least 12 months paid experience supporting people with physical & intellectual disabilities in SILsAustralian Driver's LicenseFirst Aid CertificateCPR certificationNDIS Worker Screening CheckWorking with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid rolesNational Police Check (within last 6 months or willing to obtain)NDIS Worker Orientation ModuleReliable smartphone with dataWhat We OfferCompetitive pay rates, terms, and conditionsPaid training and ongoing developmentShift loadings for weekdays, weekends, and overtime as per industry awardCasual positions with consistent hours and routine rosters, with flexibility for backfill shiftsCompany tablet for notes and accessing care plansUser-friendly rostering app for shift managementReferral bonus of $150 per successful referral (conditions apply)24/7 support from our rostering teamEmployee Assistance ProgramAfter applying, you will receive an SMS from our Recruitment Team to complete online screening questions, expediting your application process.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Entry levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: OtherIndustries: Staffing and RecruitingReferrals can double your chances of interview success at Support Worker Co.
